Location: Plaza de la Iglesia no. 1 - XIX Century

This Parish Church was built by the Marqués del Duero in 1866. It is in a beautiful colonial style, together with all the village of San Luis.

In the centre of the Church square it was the custom to celebrate "capeas" (amateur bullfighting with young bulls) on the local Patron Saint's day festivities. A bullring was constructed for the occasion using carts and boards.

Afterwards, once the bullfighting had concluded, a public dance with an orchestra was held in the square.

The Church was one of the first buildings forming part of the town plan of the Marqués del Duero, together with the Village of San Luis and the Administration House. urbano del Marqués del Duero, junto a la Villa de San Luis y la Casa - Administración.
